The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has the mandate to foster economic growth in Asia by investing in infrastructure and other productive areas and promoting regional cooperation and partnership.
The Finance Assistant (FA) is an integral part of the Loan and Grant Management Team in the Office of the Controller. FA is primarily responsible for determination of the completeness of borrowers’ requests in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures, verification of documentation and processing of disbursements. In addition, they provide support to mission preparation, disbursement seminars, data governance and loan accounting. The FA performs his/her duties in a consistent, accurate and timely fashion with the instruction of the supervisors.
The detailed responsibilities are as follow:
Investment Administration:
- Responsible for all physical and digital filing and maintaining such files in accurate and documented manner
- Interact with front office, Accounting and Treasury for timely loan data submission
- Pre-screen the withdrawal application and supporting documents submitted by clients
- Support the team to ensure all BAU activities are processed effectively, and trackers are updated on timely manner.
- Assist our clients in onboarding of AIIB Client Portal (ACP) and accessing and managing their projects and loans efficiently
- Update the status of withdrawal applications in ACP for client information
- Upload Billing Statements and Payment Advice in ACP for client visibility
- Participate in new systems development and user testing
Team Building:
- Part of the team that can organize various events for the department, including controller’s forums, visiting delegations and so on
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments at the discretion of the supervisor
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or in related fields from a reputable university
- 0 to 3 years general business experience
- Highly organized with a high level of personal integrity and a sense of accountability, and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Eager to learn, great attitude and good personality
- Excellent verbal and written English.
